Plus500 Brumbies stars, Tevita Kuridrani and Folau Fainga’a have been selected in the Wallabies side to take on Uruguay at the Rugby World Cup, in what is a must win clash for Australia.

In their first action of the tournament, the physical duo will look to set the tone for a Wallabies side which is looking to bounce back having lost to Wales last time out.

Joining Fainga’a and Kuridrani in the run-on side, James Slipper and Allan Alaalatoa start together for the first time this World Cup, the former having been a constant in the three jersey so far.

David Pocock and Rory Arnold have also started both previous fixtures, but after two brutal contests, Head Coach Michael Cheika has elected to give them some well earned rest, though they may still be required off the bench. Scott Sio will have the night off after two stellar performances in succession.

Elsewhere, the Wallabies backline has a familiar look with former Brumbies Nic White and Tevita Kuridrani partnering Lealiifano and Kuridrani in the halves and centres respectively.
