Tickets for the annual Plus500 Brumbies State of the Union lunch are now on sale with the premier business networking event sure to be another memorable afternoon.
The largest annual sports corporate lunch in Canberra will feature Raelene Castle, CEO of Rugby Australia, as Guest Speaker as well as an exclusive panel discussion which will feature 103-times capped Wallaby international, and former Brumbies crowd favourite, Matt Giteau alongside Wallaby legends including Rod Kafer and Drew Mitchell.
Hosted by Fox Sports Rugby presenter Nick McArdle, guests can enjoy a three-course lunch complete with beer and wine. With the launch of the Buildcorp Super W in 2018, we will also be showcasing our female rugby talent with a panel discussion featuring Australian Sevens sensation, and Olympic Gold medal winning skipper, Sharni Williams and 4-times Women’s World Cup Wallaroos international Louise Burrows.
“The State of the Union Lunch is the major fundraiser for the ACT/Southern NSW Community rugby program which is an integral part of the Plus500 Brumbies,” CEO Michael Thomson commented.“
The State of the union historically sells out and we expect this year’s event to be no different.
Key people in Canberra, including politicians, senior government officials and prominent local businesses are all in the room, so it is a fabulous networking opportunity as well as being a fantastic fundraising event.
“We look forward to welcoming you, and your business, to the 2018 State of the Union Lunch at the QT Hotel.”
