Eagles duo named to start for Junior Wallabies

Gungahlin Eagles teammates Tom Ross and Mack Hansen have been named to start for the Junior Wallabies in their crunch fixture against the All Blacks.

The pair have been friends and teammates for many years, rising through the ranks together and now start against the Kiwi youngsters as the ACT’s representatives in the run-on side.

Ryan Lonergan has been named in the reserves as the Junior Wallabies hunt for a place in the World Cup semi-finals.

The Wallabies have also been bolstered by the return of the Queensland Reds players Hamish Stewart, Harry Hockings and Jordan Petaia ahead of their final Pool A clash against New Zealand on Friday morning.

The three players have joined the squad following on from the clash between the Queensland Reds and NSW Waratahs in the last round of Super Rugby before the International break, following injuries to James Ramm, Len Ikitau and Trevor Hosea, who have returned to Australia.

The Junior Wallabies will face New Zealand in the crucial Pool A clash, with the match kicking off at 5am AEST on Friday morning with the match to be broadcast LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
