The Plus500 Brumbies have announced their squad for the CHICHIBUNOMIYA Minato Rugby Festival fixture against Suntory Sungoliath in Tokyo on Sunday.

A 24-man squad will head to Japan for the festival which includes the showpiece clash against the Japanese Champions.

The game is one of two that will incorporate the CHICHIBUNOMIYA Minato Rugby Festival with the earlier game between the Waratahs and NEC Green Rockets kicking off on the morning of the Brumbies match-up with Suntory.

It’s not just about the rugby for the Australian tourists however, as during the week the Brumbies will be undertaking school visits as well as enjoying a visit to the Australian Embassy in Tokyo and a reception dinner held by the Japanese Rugby Football Union.

The tour squad departed on Monday 11 June from Canberra and will be joined later in the week by a delegation of Brumbies fans on the club’s Official Supporters Tour.

The fans making the trip will get to visit the team during training and will have access to the squad at several events throughout the week.
