Brumbies Rugby is delighted to announce that major sponsor, Plus500, has agreed to an extension of its naming rights deal which will see the club remain the Plus500 Brumbies for 2018 and beyond.
Plus500, a company providing online trading services to retail customers, was founded in 2008 and provides trading in CFDs on a range of financial markets.
They became naming rights partners of the Brumbies for the 2017 season with their logo appearing on the front of jersey.
Plus500 also counts Spanish La Liga side Atlético Madrid amongst its sponsorship portfolio and the Brumbies are looking forward to continuing to grow their partnership with its naming rights partner.
“It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the extension of our partnership with Plus500,” Brumbies CEO Michael Thomson commented on the announcement.
“We have made great strides over the past twelve months since Plus500 became our major sponsor and we are very happy that the company has seen where we are going as an organisation and a rugby team and has decided to continue its association with our club.
“The 2018 Super Rugby season promises to be a very exciting one with eight home matches including fixtures against the Waratahs, Crusaders and Hurricanes in Canberra and we are sure that the team led by our new Head Coach Dan McKellar will do us proud.
“The partnership with Plus500 will enable both parties to expand their brand into different markets and is a huge vote of confidence in the Brumbies and a boost to the game in Canberra and the surrounding region.”
Asaf Elimelech, Chief Executive Officer of Plus500, commented that the company was very much looking forward to continuing its naming rights partnership of the Brumbies.
“We are thrilled that this partnership with the Brumbies is continuing as we both strive for success in our respective industries. Australia remains a key market for Plus500 and we are delighted to be aligned with such a well-known team,” Elimelech said.
The Plus500 Brumbies kick-off their 2018 Super Rugby campaign away to the Sunwolves on Saturday 24 February at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium in Tokyo.
